Founder
Dr Neil Davies founded the Kiro Kids group of family chiropractic clinics in 2000. Dr Davies is internationally recognised for his work in Chiropractic Paediatrics and he is the author of both a paediatric textbook & Paediatric Master’s Degree. He is also internationally recognized for his development of NeuroImpulse Protocol™; a very light force treatment that is both gentle yet precise based on the expanding knowledge base of the function of the human brain.
Dr Davies vision is to provide a standard of chiropractic care for the whole family that is unparalleled in excellence anywhere in the country. Dr Davies is a caring, compassionate man with a deep love for the Australian community and in particular for those whose lives are less fortunate than most.

Dr Joel Bishop
Dr Joel Bishop is a chiropractor experienced in NeuroImpulse Protocol (NIP) and has been practising at Kiro Kids Family Chiropractic since 2010. He enjoys caring for people of all ages and has completed postgraduate training in paediatrics, allowing him to provide gentle, low-force NIP care for children from infancy through to adolescence. As a father of four, Joel understands the journey of parenthood and the importance of supporting children through each stage of their growth and development. One of the most rewarding aspects of his clinical practice is seeing families feel reassured and encouraged as their children respond to care. Outside the clinic, Joel loves spending time with his family and watching his children grow. In his spare time he enjoys being in nature, walking, playing music, and connecting with friends. Dr Joel also enjoys watching the AFL and going to the game (Geelong is his team of choice!).

Dr Shethal Gajeerajee
Dr Shethal grew up in Durban South Africa where she graduated in 2010 with a Master’s degree in Chiropractic.
Providing paediatric chiropractic care along with neuroplasticity has always been a keen interest of hers and it was during her own pregnancy that Dr Shethal was introduced to Dr Neil Davies technique, NeuroImpulse Protocol™ (NIP™). Having a technique that is neurologically precise with maximum positive patient outcomes is important to Dr Shethal and the NIP™ treatment method aligns so well with her professional goals for patient care.
Dr Shethal has been providing chiropractic care in both South Africa and London over the past 11 years where she has gained valuable experience in all aspects of family chiropractic care including babies and young children.
Outside of work Dr Shethal loves spending time with her husband and son and is excited to now be a member of the Ballarat Family Health Care team and especially a clinic founded by the creator of NeuroImpulse Protocol™, Dr Neil Davies.

Dr Valerie Huebner
Upon meeting Dr Neil Davies and learning about Kiro Kids, Dr Valerie immediately wished to pursue the opportunity to learn from Dr Davies and his team, and to work in a clinic where his values of kindness, service, and excellence were constantly in evidence. As Dr Valerie studied NeuroImpulse Protocol™ (NIP™), she loved its capacity to provide chiropractic care to expanded populations - including infants and children - while more effectively addressing the underlying causes of patients’ pain and disability. This sparked her passion for paediatric chiropractic care and a deep desire to continue learning more.
Dr Valerie grew up in Texas, USA, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Crime & Justice Studies. While working as a forensic scientist after university, Dr Valerie earned a Master’s in Forensic DNA and Serology, and served as a volunteer firefighter, and volunteer emergency medical technician. After seven years in forensics, she decided to leave the lab to serve her community more directly as a police officer. A few years later, she was inspired to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a chiropractor and earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College. After graduation, Dr Valerie worked as a chiropractor in Alaska, USA.
Dr Valerie is now thrilled to be part of the Ballarat community and to provide safe, gentle, and effective chiropractic care to children and families as part of the Kiro Kids team.
